Cat A rose $5,010 (4.2%) to $123,010, and Cat B rose $1 (0.0%) to $121,001. That leaves Cat B $2,009 below Cat A.
Demand was keenest in Cat E, with 2.05 bids for every COE on offer, against 1.91 in Cat A and 1.47 in Cat B.
It is the highest Cat A premium since the Oct 2025, 1st bidding. A year earlier, in the Apr 2025, 2nd bidding, Cat A closed at $99,500, so it is 24% higher than then. Cat A has now risen in 5 exercises in a row.
This was the last of the six results behind the May 2026 PQP, so the May 2026 renewal price was fixed when it closed. It is the average of every premium from Feb 2026 to Apr 2026.
On that PQP, a 10-year Cat A renewal financed over 118 months at 2.80% flat is about $1,214 a month (Cat B $1,239), and a 5-year Cat A renewal over 60 months at 2.58% about $1,057. Estimates, subject to lender approval.
Renewals made in April 2026 itself pay the April 2026 PQP, Cat A $107,407, which was fixed before this exercise.
