Cat A rose $6,110 (5.5%) to $118,000, and Cat B rose $5,432 (4.7%) to $121,000. That leaves Cat B $3,000 above Cat A.
Demand was keenest in Cat A, with 2.01 bids for every COE on offer; Cat B drew 1.73.
It is the highest Cat A premium since the Oct 2025, 2nd bidding. A year earlier, in the Apr 2025, 1st bidding, Cat A closed at $97,724, so it is 21% higher than then. Cat A has now risen in 4 exercises in a row.
This result was the fifth of the six behind the May 2026 PQP. With the Apr 2026, 2nd bidding that followed, the May 2026 PQP came to:
On that PQP, a 10-year Cat A renewal financed over 118 months at 2.80% flat is about $1,214 a month (Cat B $1,239), and a 5-year Cat A renewal over 60 months at 2.58% about $1,057. Estimates, subject to lender approval.
Renewals made in April 2026 itself pay the April 2026 PQP, Cat A $107,407, which was fixed before this exercise.
