Cat A rose $5,153 (4.2%) to $129,000, and Cat B rose $7,387 (6.0%) to $130,889. That leaves Cat B $1,889 above Cat A.
Demand was keenest in Cat B, with 1.73 bids for every COE on offer; Cat A drew 1.51.
It is the highest Cat A premium in LTA's data, which starts in 2010. A year earlier, in the Jul 2025, 1st bidding, Cat A closed at $101,102, so it is 28% higher than then.
This result was the fifth of the six behind the August 2026 PQP. With the Jul 2026, 2nd bidding that followed, the August 2026 PQP came to:
On that PQP, a 10-year Cat A renewal financed over 118 months at 2.80% flat is about $1,358 a month (Cat B $1,382), and a 5-year Cat A renewal over 60 months at 2.58% about $1,183. Estimates, subject to lender approval.
Renewals made in July 2026 itself pay the July 2026 PQP, Cat A $123,315, which was fixed before this exercise.
