Cat A fell $7,492 (6.8%) to $102,009, and Cat B rose $3,998 (3.5%) to $119,100. That leaves Cat B $17,091 above Cat A.
Demand was keenest in Cat E, with 1.90 bids for every COE on offer, against 1.29 in Cat A and 1.37 in Cat B.
It is the lowest Cat A premium since the Aug 2025, 1st bidding. A year earlier, in the Jan 2025, 1st bidding, Cat A closed at $93,699, so it is 9% higher than then.
This result was the fifth of the six behind the February 2026 PQP. With the Jan 2026, 2nd bidding that followed, the February 2026 PQP came to:
On that PQP, a 10-year Cat A renewal financed over 118 months at 2.80% flat is about $1,163 a month (Cat B $1,306), and a 5-year Cat A renewal over 60 months at 2.58% about $1,013. Estimates, subject to lender approval.
Renewals made in January 2026 itself pay the January 2026 PQP, Cat A $114,004, which was fixed before this exercise.
